ISU Norway celebrates International Womens Day to mark the political, social, economic and cultural achievements of women. We call for more gender equality to move towards a balanced world. There are many strong women who have and continue to play important roles in ISU and representing international students in Norway.

The strongest example of this is the all-female board in the 2018-2019 ISU Drammen board. We asked them to share a few words about the importance of the day:

"I want every little girl who's told she's bossy, to be told instead she has leadership skills," Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook COO.

Norway is a great country where both women and men can be leaders. Without anyone telling us "we couldn't", we formed an all-female ISU board. We are six women, from six countries across three continents, who are passionate about bringing people together and sharing diversity."
